Xcel Energy selected ¾º²Ê×ãÇòapp to construct the Rush Creek Wind Project in Limon, Colorado. This was ¾º²Ê×ãÇòapp’s first wind project built directly for Xcel Energy and the largest wind project in ¾º²Ê×ãÇòapp’s history.Ìý

The scope of work included access roads, foundations, collection system installation, O&M building, erection and wiring of 300 Vestas V110 2.0 MW turbines. ¾º²Ê×ãÇòapp also self-performed all civil and high voltage work. Construction of the project began in June of 2017 and was completed in October of 2018. The terrain was flat to rolling hills.Ìý

A challenge for this project was that the two phases were 35 miles apart, laydown yard to laydown yard, requiring a very efficient schedule to keep everything moving and finished on time.
